Zine: Memewarfare

MemeWarfare examines memes as instruments of propaganda, persuasion, and online conflict. Bringing together images and texts drawn from digital culture, the zine traces how ideas are compressed, repeated, and circulated through the visual language of the internet.

The zine reproduces individual meme layers from Memes No. 2 and Memes No. 3 before they were overprinted and obscured on canvas. Removed from the speed of the feed and returned to physical form, these images can be held, slowed down, and examined.

Printed as a limited-edition object, MemeWarfare is made to circulate by hand, to be encountered in public space, and to interrupt the systems of distribution it examines.
